Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the CSE Ally mobile application and website (the "Service") operated by CSE Ally ("we", "us", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. By creating an account, downloading, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Non-Affiliation Disclaimer

IMPORTANT NOTICE: CSE Ally is an independent educational prep platform developed to assist students and job applicants preparing for the Philippine Career Service Examination. CSE Ally is NOT affiliated with, sponsored by, associated with, or endorsed by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) of the Republic of the Philippines or any Philippine government agency. All study materials, mock questions, and reviewers are compiled independently for educational and review purposes.

2. User Accounts & Security

You must provide accurate, complete, and updated registration details when creating your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials.
You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

CSE Ally offers both free access and premium auto-renewable subscription tiers ("Premium"):

Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID Account or Google Play Account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle (Monthly, Season Pass, or Yearly).
Account Charging: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscriptions anytime by going to your Apple ID Account Settings or Google Play Subscriptions after purchase.
Refunds: All purchases and refunds are processed according to Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions or Google Play Terms of Service.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user progress records), design, features, functionality, software, and the "Ally AI" interactive engine are and will remain the exclusive property of CSE Ally. Our trademarks, logos, and brand assets may not be used without prior written consent.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

Scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the question database or proprietary answer keys.
Share or distribute login credentials across multiple individuals to circumvent subscription tiers.
Use automated bots, scripts, or spiders to overload the examination servers or AI services.

6. Educational Content & No Guarantee of Passing

While CSE Ally is designed to provide top-tier preparation based on official CSC exam formats, syllabi, and historical exam structures, we make no representation or guarantee that using our application will result in passing the Civil Service Examination or receiving a specific score. Passing results depend on individual diligence, foundational knowledge, and performance on the examination day.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall CSE Ally, its developers, partners, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or inability to access or use the Service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
